Duxford

The Imperial War Museum at Duxford is Britain's largest aviation museum. It houses nearly 200 aircraft, military vehicles, artillery and minor naval vessels in seven main exhibition buildings. In my opinion, the flying days are its major attraction and although the evocative noise of the Merlin engine in the Supermarine Spitfire is unbeatable, the WWI biplanes are among the most attractive in flight
