About Me

Contact

For many years, I concentrated in photographing landforms for my geography teaching but more recently I have worked on developing the aesthetic side of the art, with a particular interest on portraits both in the studio and on location. I have a passion for ballet and have had the privilege to photograph dancers  of the English National Ballet as well as dancers in several other settings.

I hold a Royal Photographic Society distinction as well as a diploma and advanced diploma (with distinction) in photography. I have lectured in photography at the Letchworth Settlement adult education centre and I still lead photo walks to places of interest. I have been an official photographer for the Garden House Hospice and the National Schools Cross Country Championships.

My work has been recognised by winning an annual competition of the Photography Monthly magazine and I have also been a finalist in the Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust competition. I have had  work published by the Isles of Scilly Tourist Board, the National Trust, the Canon EOS and PhotoPlus Magazines as well as the Herts in Focus and Letchworth Settlement calendars.
